The Wisconsin Heights Youth Softball Program is a community based league, committed to providing all girls with the fundamental skills of softball in a fun, supportive and inspiring environment. It is our goal that each girl walks away with an appreciation and deep understanding of the game, and a love for it that will continue on as they grow older.
We would like all girls that are interested in playing softball to have the opportunity to play. If your daughter is interested in playing but you feel this will be a financial burden for your family, please email Sherri Wagner at wagnersherri@gmail to get information on free scholarships that are available.
Spring Training: (Not just for baseball!) The softball season begins in April with pitching/catching practice for grades 3-8 which is once a week for the entire month & determined by each coach. Regular (mandatory) full team practices begin in early May or as communicated by the Coach.
Summer Ball: Games typically begin late May through July for all teams and are played once or twice a week. T-Ball games begin in June and run through July. Practices are at the discretion of the coach.
Fall Ball: This competitive, skill-building team is for any player age 10 or older looking for more instruction and opportunity to play. Games are typically played Sunday afternoons in September through October in a double header format.
Off Season: We offer off season pitching/catching lessons for grades 3-8 starting in October - March which is paid for by the Softball Club. These practices are twice a month & are with a hired pitching coach along with coaches from our teams. This is a great opportunity for the girls to get free pitching lessons & to continue working on their skills during the off season so they are ready to go come Spring.
